Player of the Week: Grand Forks's Turner Monday, August 8th , 2061 Dave Turner made quite a splash in the USSL Single A this past week. The Grand Forks Caterpillars second baseman drilled opposing pitchers for 9 hits in 17 at-bats to roll up a .529 batting average and the USSL Single A Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. Batting .281 to date, Turner has 9 home runs and 26 RBIs. |
