Best SA Reliever Named Sunday, September 22nd , 2047 Rafael Medina was a calming influence out of the Delmarva Gallos bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 23-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the USSL Single A Reliever of the Year Award for 2047. The Lincolnia, Virginia native won the award with 7 saves in 34 relief appearances, 79 strikeouts in 71.1 innings and a record of 8-0 to go with his 1.01 ERA. He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. Eisaku Ishikawa of the Huntington Hermit Crabs finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Zayn Reddy of the Delmarva Gallos finished third with 1 first place vote.
