Turner Wins Best Bat Trophy in August Thursday, September 1st , 2061 Dave Turner may be much younger than other hitters in the USSL Single A, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 21-year-old Grand Forks second baseman hit .358 with 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and 16 runs scored. Currently Turner has 11 home runs and a .287 batting average. |
