Wild Card Clinched by Smoky Mountain Thursday, September 8th , 2061 The Smoky Mountain Hobeaus could very well have acquired some new fans late this season, as the team's 2061 playoff chase saw them win the wild card as the season wound to a close. "It's an exciting time to be a fan of the Hobeaus. I think we had people on the edge of their seats wondering what would happen," said shortstop Timmy Derp. What ended up happening is that the team's 54-43 record has allowed it to move on to the postseason, with a chance to win the 1st SL A Championship in franchise history. "It's only going to get more exciting from here on in," Derp said. |
