Bowen, Gonzáles Suspended for Fracas Friday, August 2nd , 2058 Ed Bowen of the Delmarva Gallos and José Gonzáles of the Holy City Herons will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 8 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Gallos-Herons game at The Cage. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Bowen and Gonzáles will begin serving them soon. At present, Bowen is batting .197 and has collected 1 home run, 3 RBIs, .305 OBP and scored 6 runs. This season, Gonzáles has made 15 relief appearances with no saves. In 35 innings he has fanned 33 hitters and recorded 1 win and 1 loss with a 1.80 ERA. |
