The Walla Walla Walleye have officially captured the crown, the 6th in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said reliever Wilbert McCabe. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 60-32 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 6th USSL Single A championship. "You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said manager Félix Cruz. "This is what you play for." |
