Athletic Club KC Secures Top Spot in Silver A Saturday, September 7th , 2058 Members of the Athletic Club KC U-24 rejoiced as their division title became official. With no time to spare, the U-24 are champions of the Silver A. It is the 4th division title in franchise history and the club will be looking to win its 5th SL A Championship. "It's special to win a division, but to win it in the last day of the season, it's quite a great feeling," said starting pitcher Michael Phillips. The team's record sits at 61-35 and manager Félix Jiménez likes his team's chances in the playoffs. "We've got some momentum on our side," he said. |
