South Beach Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Monday, August 22nd, 2044 The South Beach Blaze have a new opponent: mathematics. The Blaze still have games to play in their disappointing 2044 campaign, but the numbers say they won't mean much -- the Blaze were today mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. Before this season, the Blaze last missed the playoffs in 2042. In the 24 years they have been a USPL Single A franchise, they have missed the playoffs 10 times. In the last 10 years, they have missed the playoffs 2 times. South Beach has won the PL A Championship 11 times in their history. |
