Pepe Pereira Injured, Out for Year Saturday, September 6th, 2036 The season is finished for Pepe Pereira of the Walla Walla Walleye. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Walleye reliever suffered a damaged elbow ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Delaware 1787 BC. Team doctors said it would take at least 14 months to heal. This year Pereira has 33 relief appearances, saving 7. His record is 3-2 with 88 strikeouts in 57.1 innings and a 2.04 ERA. |
