Arroyo Captures PA Batter of Month Award Wednesday, September 1st, 2038 Ánibal Arroyo put together a good August to earn the USPL Single A Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Walla Walla officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Walleye first baseman posted a .282 batting average with 5 home runs, 14 RBIs and 17 runs scored. Arroyo is batting at a .265 pace this season, picking up 78 hits in 294 at-bats with 9 home runs, 31 RBIs and 46 runs scored. |
