Hollywood Shredders Ship Christison to Ft. Worth Thursday, August 4th, 2044 It's all done except the paperwork. The Hollywood Shredders and the Ft. Worth Cattlemen have agreed to a trade that will send 33-year-old RHP Bob Christison and 20-year-old RHP Apaghana Shachi to Ft. Worth, while 30-year-old RHP Jack Buyse will be shipped to Hollywood. A top front office executive with the Shredders described the trade talks as "quick and easy." "We're glad to get this deal done. We think it's something that helps our ball club and it didn't take too long at all to sort this one out," he said. This season Christison has claimed no saves and registered a 2-2 record with a 4.96 ERA. He has 19 relief appearances spanning 32.2 innings and has struck out 20. |
