United States Silver League Names Rookie of Month Sunday, August 1st, 2038 Youngster Esteban León emerged as the latest United States Silver League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Las Vegas deserved the honor, batting .341 with 6 home runs and 18 RBI. Is the month of July a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let León enjoy the limelight. In 68 games this year León has posted a .278 average and put up these numbers: 11 home runs, 40 RBIs and 25 runs scored. |
