Silva #1 SL Pitcher in July Thursday, August 1st, 2041 Jesús Silva had an outstanding July -- so good that the United States Silver League presented him with the Pitcher of the Month Award earlier today. "There's no way to know where the 84s would be without Silva," one fan is quoted as saying. In July Silva dominated the competition, running up a 5-0 record, a 1.71 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 31.2 innings. To date this year in 13 starts, Silva has crafted a 9-1 mark with a 2.42 ERA. |
