Webb Gets 4-Game Suspension Wednesday, July 21st , 2049 St. Louis Coeur designated hitter Dan Webb has been suspended 4 games in conjunction with his ejection yesterday for arguing a third-strike call in the Echo Park game at LA Forum. Webb did not immediately return to the dugout and continued to yell and scream at the home plate umpire. The league said it will not condone this type of conduct and issued the suspension. So far this season Webb has put up a .174 batting average with 41 hits, 14 home runs and 28 RBIs. |
