SL's #1 Player Named Monday, August 15th, 2039 Tadayoshi Watanabe is respected by most Long Island Lighthouse fans for his no-frills style of play. The 31-year-old first baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the United States Silver League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .611 average (11-for-18) with 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year Watanabe has 11 home runs and a .282 batting average. |
