Injury Worsens, Return Delayed For Battery Morrison Saturday, August 20th, 2039 Jasper Morrison was taking it slow and easy nursing plantar fascitis back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a Charleston team official, "Jasper was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 29-year-old Battery right fielder will be out at least another 2-3 weeks. In 69 games this season Morrison has batted at a .267 pace with 72 hits and 11 home runs. |
