United States Silver League Names Rookie of Month Thursday, September 1st, 2044 Mhelter Tejano is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest United States Silver League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In August the Colorado hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .400 average with 36 hits, 6 home runs and 18 RBIs. Tejano is hitting .357 this year with 13 home runs and 45 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .398, 9 walks and scored 38 times. |
