Browns End Saraf's Streak
Sunday, September 2nd, 2040
Buckhead shortstop Barsati Saraf came into today's game against the Cleveland Browns on a hot streak. He left on a cold one.

The Browns did their jobs well, beating the Buckhead Bowties 8-0 and holding Saraf hitless to snap his 32-game hitting streak. The 24-year-old shortstop had a few words to say after finishing 0-for-4, telling reporters only that he "came up short."

"What Barsati did was exciting and quite an achievement," said Bowties manager Kerry Hofmeister. "It's tough enough to get one hit in this league, much less go 32 games in a row. I'm even more proud of the way he handled the press coverage. He never let the frenzy get to him or affect his play."

Presently Saraf is batting .289 and has collected 4 home runs, 31 RBIs, .319 OBP and scored 20 runs.
