Mockingbirds Richard Jost Will Miss Season Monday, September 3rd, 2040 Richard Jost has to call it a season. The Mississippi Mockingbirds third baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Nashville Outlaws and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Jost was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a sprained ankle and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 weeks. During the current season Jost is batting at a .247 clip with 11 home runs and 38 RBIs. He has played in 60 games and scored 31 times. |
