Deungjeong Keeps Hit Streak Alive Friday, August 30th , 2047 Gwang-soo Deungjeong has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 24-year-old Detroit Elite left fielder extended his streak today to 20 games, going 2-for-5 as Detroit got the best of the Pittsburgh Kingfishers at Detroit Stadium, 7-6. "Gwang-soo has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Elite manager Dustin Hewitt said. Gwang-soo Deungjeong struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and flied out in the 7th. So far this year Deungjeong has 2 home runs and a .328 batting average. |
