Career-Ending Injury for Markus Visser Wednesday, April 23rd, 2036 Mississippi closer Markus Visser sustained a torn labrum throwing a pitch in yesterday's game against the Northern Lions BC. It was only later, at the local hospital, that the severity of the injury became apparent. While the Mockingbirds team doctor was confident Visser would make at least a partial recovery, he was less optimistic about his future in baseball. "Professional ballplayers need to be in peak physical condition. Unfortunately, Markus will be affected by this injury for the rest of his life." |
