SL's Best Batter Picked Monday, June 1st, 2037 When Jonas van Claveren stepped up to the plate in May he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the United States Silver League Batter of the Month award. The young Phoenix second baseman posted a .449 batting average with 5 home runs, 22 RBIs and scored 33 runs. van Claveren also worked pitchers for 13 walks to post a .518 on-base percentage. |
