Serrato and Mejía Suspended for Free-for-All Wednesday, July 9th, 2036 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Kingston Township-Brooklyn contest at Cloverdale Legion Park. The Knights Alejandro Serrato and the Dodgers Román Mejía will have to sit out 5 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This year Serrato is hitting .264 with 3 home runs and 11 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .333 clip and scored 9 runs. In 12 starts this season Mejía has crafted a 2-6 record with a 4.31 ERA. |
