John Riggleman Notches 200th Save
Saturday, August 2nd, 2036
Success in close games can separate the good teams from the great teams, and a great bullpen specialist is a big part of that success.
John Riggleman of the Kingston Township Knights today solidified his position as one of the great relievers in the game by recording the 200th save of his career against the Athletic Club KC.
Riggleman reached the milestone in closing out the 3-1 Knights win at Athletics Park. The 33-year-old hurler worked 1 innings and gave up 1 run and 1 hit in his historic save.
During his career over 465 games and 481 innings, Riggleman has put together a 29-47 record and logged 483 strikeouts. So far, he has picked up 200 saves and has a 2.92 ERA.
