Long Island Trades Mullaney for Echo Park's Howard Friday, July 12th, 2041 Trade winds have been blowing through Long Island. This time, a deal has materialized between the Lighthouse and Lakers. According to sources inside the organization, Long Island will ship 32-year-old LHP Onson Sweemey, 31-year-old LHP Felipe Filipe, 29-year-old CF Chip Mullaney, 25-year-old SS Ger Jobse and 23-year-old CF Donald Martin to Echo Park for 29-year-old RHP Nolan Howard and $7,570,000 in cash. So far this season Howard has a 2-6 record, 10 starts, 56 innings, 49 strikeouts and a 4.34 ERA. |
