Seattle's Chon Will Miss Season Tuesday, July 30th, 2041 The Seattle Rocketeers were dealt a severe blow when Min-chor Chon was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Oakland Oaks. After the game, the team trainer reported Chon might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 25-year-old closer out for the rest of the season with shoulder inflammation. They indicated it would take Chon at least 9 months to heal. To date Min-chor Chon has made 23 relief appearances and nailed down 9 saves. In 25 innings he has fanned 26 batters and walked 12. His record is 1-1 with a 2.16 ERA and the opposition is batting .209 against him. |
