25-Game Streak Ends, Dickinson Hitless Friday, September 4th, 2043 All good things must come to an end -- and so it was today for Tom Dickinson as he saw his 25-game hitting streak end. He went hitless in 2 at-bats at the hands of the Montana Pandas. It wasn't all bad for the 33-year-old catcher and the Vancouver Grey Wolves however, as they defeated Montana 4-2 at Wolf Den in Vancouver. When asked about his hitting streak, a smiling Dickinson laughed and said, "I guess my luck ran out today." This season Dickinson is hitting .291 with 1 home run. |
