Saturday, August 18th, 2035
After an intense confrontation, both the Oaks Obidiah Lewis and the Pandas Jim Sison were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Oakland-Montana game. Both players will miss 6 games as a result of their actions.

"Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Obidiah Lewis commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play."

Lewis is hitting .339 this year with 30 home runs and 64 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .429, 39 walks and scored 58 times.

To date this year Sison has won 1 and lost 4 with a 5.12 ERA, 2 saves and 39 strikeouts in 11 relief appearances.
