Ríos Raps Las Vegas for 5 Hits Thursday, August 21st, 2042 All game long, Athletic Club KC's Mike Ríos was rattling the walls at Athletics Park and banging out base hits against the Las Vegas Flamingos. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Athletic Club KC had a 13-3 victory. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 25-year-old third baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Mike Ríos hit a two-run single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Wayland Whitlock in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Dan Seymour in the 7th.
