Kingston Township Goes Hitless Against Arnaud Tuesday, September 2nd, 2036 In a dominant outing, Alain Arnaud of the Seattle Aviators totally silenced the bats of the Kingston Township Knights, finishing with a no-hitter. In the Aviators' 1-0 victory, Arnaud faced only 29 batters, surrendered no hits, had 6 strikeouts and 4 walks. "Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Seattle manager Mau Delgado said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any." Commenting on the defeat, losing manager Rayzor Ray told reporters in the clubhouse that he had a "pretty simple" analysis of the game. "The Aviators had all the hits and all the runs, so they won," he snapped. "But yeah, Arnaud pitched a heck of a ballgame." In 15 starts this season Arnaud has compiled a 3-0 record and a 2.60 ERA.
