Kringlen Runs Hit String to 36 Straight Games Sunday, September 25th, 2044 The number just keeps getting higher. Thunder Bay left fielder Keaton Kringlen has now extended his hitting string to 36 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 4 at-bats as the Thunder Bay took the 5-1 win over the Panama City Piranhas at The Tank. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Panama City manager Brian Talamante said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Keaton Kringlen walked in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 10th. Thus far this year Kringlen is hitting .348 with 36 home runs, 78 RBIs and 76 runs scored. |
