Grosjean Wins 3L Prize, Named Best Hitter in August Thursday, September 1st, 2039 August was a good month for Alain Grosjean. The Seattle shortstop had his way with opposing pitchers all month while posting a .349 batting average and was selected as the Menard's Third League Batter of the Month. Last month Grosjean put up some solid numbers: 11 home runs, 23 RBIs, 17 runs scored and a .386 on-base percentage. For the season Grosjean has produced 100 hits in 354 at-bats for a .282 average with 27 home runs and gotten on base at a .320 clip. |
