Setback for Battery and Rafael Pérez Sunday, July 30th , 2051 The Charleston Battery announced today that reliever Rafael Pérez will not be returning as quickly as expected from injury. "There was a bit of a setback, but nothing to be concerned about," one team official told reporters. "Rafael will probably miss another 5 days because of this, but everyone expects him to make a full recovery." This season Pérez has accumulated 2 saves, registered a 2.65 ERA and struck out 38 in 37.1 innings. He also has a 4-1 record in 28 relief appearances. |
