Montana, Long Island Agree to Swap Friday, January 9th, 2043 In an effort to add some depth to its roster, the Montana Pandas have swapped $9,650,000 in cash to the Long Island Lighthouse for 30-year-old RHP Juriaan Roos, 30-year-old CF Oliver Villalva and 30-year-old 3B Carlos Mendoza. The Pandas GM told reporters, "We saw a chance to upgrade our ball club and took it." Long Island will retain a portion of Villalva's remaining contract. Long Island will retain a portion of Mendoza's remaining contract. In his career Mendoza has gotten 223 hits with a .274 batting average, scored 100 runs, hit 38 home runs and driven in 141. |
