New Orleans-St. Louis Trade: Greer for Bennett Sunday, April 15th, 2040 The Baseball News Network is reporting that the Voodoo and Coeur have consummated a trade. St. Louis will receive 28-year-old LHP Ralph Greer in a swap for 20-year-old minor league RHP Mike Bennett. A league analyst called the trade a "fairly even transaction." Greer has chalked up a lifetime ERA of 4.91 with 5 victories and 16 defeats. He has totaled 103 career strikeouts in 163 innings while holding opponents to a .272 batting average. |
