Season Possibly Over for Ieyoshi Asai Saturday, May 19th, 2040 Ieyoshi Asai has to call it a season. The Montana Pandas reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Athletic Club KC and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Asai was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a damaged elbow ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 13-14 months. So far this season Asai is 1-and-0 with no saves and a 4.66 ERA. He has given up 12 hits in 9.2 innings with 4 strikeouts. |
