Barrón Extends Hit Streak to 34 Games Thursday, June 16th, 2044 The hitting streak for Buckhead shortstop Juan Barrón now stands at 34 games, but the Bowties dropped today's contest 5-0 to the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC. Barrón went 1-for-4 in the game. "Things went well for me personally today," he said later. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Juan Barrón struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and doubled in the 7th. This year Barrón has hit at a .428 clip with 71 hits, 1 home run, 17 RBIs and 29 runs scored. |
