Nashville Halts Barrón's Hitting Steak Saturday, June 18th, 2044 The Outlaws stopped Juan Barrón's 35-game hitting streak today at Nashville Stadium, but they couldn't stop the Buckhead Bowties, falling by the score of 6-3. Barrón didn't get a hit for the first time in weeks, finishing 0-for-5. "It's just as well," Bowties manager Kerry Hofmeister said. "We couldn't spend the whole season going out of our way not to jinx him." Barrón is currently batting .423 with 1 home run, 18 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has 74 hits in 175 at-bats. |
