Player of the Week: Austin's Gatacre Monday, August 17th, 2043 So far in his young career, Bill Gatacre has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Austin Black Mambas center fielder hit at a torrid .467 clip as he collected 7 hits in 15 at-bats, 1 home run, 2 RBIs and 4 runs scored. So far this year Gatacre is hitting .288 with 16 home runs. |
