Austin Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Monday, August 31st, 2043 The Austin Black Mambas have a new opponent: mathematics. The Black Mambas still have games to play in their disappointing 2043 campaign, but the numbers say they won't mean much -- the Black Mambas were today mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. Austin last appeared in the postseason in 2026. This is their 17th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 27 times in their 28-year history. |
