Newell Goes 5-for-5 Against Syracuse Tuesday, July 25th , 2045 It was a big day for Rick Newell and he brought the Nolensville Knights along for the ride. Newell led his club to a 6-5 victory over the Syracuse Starks today at Nolensville Park, smoking Syracuse pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 30-year-old center fielder later called the victory "sweet." Rick Newell singled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Kyle Collins in the 8th.
