Baton Rouge's Wrightson Collects July Batting Honor Tuesday, August 1st , 2045 Baton Rouge Brass fans believe they've got a talented young star in Maurice Wrightson. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in July, as he hit .371 with 9 home runs, 21 RBIs and 17 runs scored. The end result was the first baseman being named the M3L Triple A Batter of the Month. This year Wrightson is batting .297 with 18 home runs. He has scored 37 runs and driven in 64. |
