Postseason Bid Ends for Key West Saturday, September 6th, 2036 The playoff hopes of the Key West Coral Reefers have been extinguished for the year. Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the 2036 postseason. "It's weird, yesterday we were all talking about what we needed to do to make it to the 3L AAA Championship and now we're just counting down the days until the offseason, said Coral Reefers reliever Jim Eisenmenger. Key West last appeared in the postseason in 2024. This is their 12th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 19 times in their 21-year history. Key West last won the 3L AAA Championship in 2021. |
