Alemán Goes on Rampage Against Golden Cranes Tuesday, September 6th, 2044 No matter what the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes threw at him today, Guillermo Alemán hit it. He easily handled Golden Cranes pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Dogfish Head to a 16-5 triumph at Crane Field. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Alemán's quip, Golden Cranes skipper Frank Glass said he "would take him up on that next time." Guillermo Alemán singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Claude Khatoon in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
