3AAA Names Top Player of the Week Monday, September 17th, 2035 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Triple A, but last week Héctor Velázquez of the Sunset District Fog reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Velázquez rocked opposing pitching for a .538 average (7-for-13), 2 home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. Velázquez is hitting .310 so far this season with 62 RBIs and 56 runs scored. He has 105 hits including 9 home runs, 35 walks and .375 OBP. |
