Year Over for Dogfish Head Edgar Wednesday, June 10th, 2043 Alex Edgar of the Dogfish Head just might have to call it quits for the season. The 30-year-old Milton reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Sioux Falls Red Pandas recently at Milton Corner Tavern. Edgar suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch. The Dogfish Head medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4-5 months. His stats sheet for the year shows Edgar has managed to hold opponents to a .246 average in 7 relief appearances, while putting up 2-0 record with 10 strikeouts and 6 walks in 16.2 innings. He has a 3.78 ERA with 1 save. |
