Red-Hot Martínez Scorches Red Pandas Sunday, June 3rd, 2035 Coral Reefers shortstop Juan Martínez had his way with Sioux Falls pitching today at Milton Corner Tavern and mauled them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Red Pandas ruined his great day by toppling the Coral Reefers, 8-4. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Sioux Falls credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Martínez did today," Red Pandas skipper Todd England said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Juan Martínez singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 9th and grounded out in the 11th.
