Red Pandas Blythe Plumpley to Miss Year Thursday, July 2nd, 2043 The season is finished for Blythe Plumpley of the Sioux Falls Red Pandas. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Red Pandas catcher suffered a broken bone in the elbow while running the bases in a recent game against the Calgary Lynx. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal. This year Plumpley is batting .200 with 2 home runs and 18 RBIs. In 42 games he has scored 17 times. |
