Martí Chosen #1 Player Monday, August 6th, 2040 So far in his young career, Tomás Martí has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USPL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Port Royal Disaster third baseman hit at a torrid .667 clip as he collected 6 hits in 9 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Currently Martí is batting .280 with 4 home runs and 27 RBIs. |
