Brass García Snags PAAA Player of the Week Monday, July 1st, 2041 Luis García is respected by most Baton Rouge Brass fans for his no-frills style of play. The 28-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USPL Triple A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .533 average (8-for-15) with 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season García is batting .321 with 54 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 25 times and has 24 runs batted in. |
